Are you an Introvert working in business? Perhaps this story will resonate with you...
Early in my career I participated in an in house leadership development program. At one point during this program we were split into two groups - the Extroverts and the Introverts. I had never really thought about my natural disposition before then but it was clear that there was an implied preference towards Extroverts to lead that company. I masked (perhaps even unsuccessfully) my own introversion for most of my career and every January, I dreaded the start of another year of doing this. Indeed it wasn’t until much later in my career did I come to accept and realise that Introverts can make the best business leaders.
My new venture, The Anxious Executive, has been established to help you understand and embrace your Introversion, be true to yourself and to be your best and most successful self in the business world.
We offer a wide range of coaching, mentoring and development services including introductory workshops, full day workshops or individually tailored, one on one coaching.
Alternatively, if you simply want to understand more about your Introverted colleagues or team members, then The Anxious Executive's workshops and coaching services can also help you understand how to work successfully with Introverts.
You can find more details about our workshops and this initiative at www.theanxiousexecutive.com.
